    No I did not. We couldn't see the genital area because my baby has a birth defect called Gastroschisis. The intestines were covering up the area.

  • Personal Statement

    My name is Shelsi

    I'm 19 years old

    Currently living in Jacksonville,NC. Husband is stationed at Camp Lejeune,NC.

    I was born in Temple Texas. 

    Due to being and Army Brat I have lived in Fort Hood,Tx / Baumholder,Germany / Fort Sill/Cache,OK

    Met my HS sweetheart,Manny in Baumholder,Germany. He was 15 I was 13.

    I got pregnant by him at the age of 14 with first daughter, Cambria who is now 4 yrs old(7/12/07).

    In 2009 he joined the Navy. He proposed to me the day he graduated boot camp which was earlier in the year, and we got married November 23,2009.

    Cambria and I moved up to NC January 2010. My husband later deployed to Afghanistan July 2010 and returned Feb 2011.

    Not to long after he returned from deployment we got pregnant again with our second daughter, Jobie. She was born Oct 27,2011.  She was diagnosed with Gastroschisis at 20 weeks gestation.  She came home from the NICU a month later (Nov 26,2011)
