10 things about me...

1. I am a new mother. My son Maxx was born 14 weeks premature on June 17, 2008. He will be in the NICU for some time.

2. I have been married to my wonderful husband, Roy, for over two years now.

3. I have a Bachelors in Elementary Education and a Masters in Reading Education.

5. I will be starting my first college teaching position in August at Hillsborough Community College.

I attended the following schools: Tyrone Area High School (Tyrone, PA); University of South Florida (Sarasota & Tampa, FL); Manatee Community College (Bradenton, FL); Lock Haven State University (Lock Haven, PA); Bowie State University (Bowie, MD); and Pennsylvania State University (Altoona, PA).

7. I enjoy reaserching my family genealogy.

8. My husband and I are obsessed with movies. My all time favorite being "The Nightmare Before Christmas."

9. I was born a Redskin; grew up a Steeler; and am now a Buccaneer. Go Bucs!

10. I own four cats; P.J., Precious, Ace and Percy. They are my big babies, always wanting attention and I don't know what I would do without them.
