Well, I am 35 years old and first time mom. I have been married for going on 9 years to the most wonderful man in the world besides my 2 fathers. Scotty Liam was the most wonderful surprise and we couldnt be more blessed. He was born with a rare birth defect called Caudal Regression and is paralyzed from the waist down. DO NOT feel sorry for him or for our family. There is nothing to feel sorry for. This is his "Normal" and the only limitations that he will have are the ones other people try to put on him. Scotty will never know anything different and he is doing wonderfully. We are going to teach him that there is always someone that has it worse than you do so be thankful for all that you have.
