Hi!

I'm new here, found this site on myspace and it sounds like a lot of fun. I really like the idea of meeting new moms, and hopefully making some new friends. I'd love the chance to talk about things that most of my friends don't understand, and listen to what other people have to say about things.

So I guess I should say a little about me.. My name's Nicki, I'm 24 years old and the proud mother of two boys. Christopher is 7 now, and Connor just turned 4. I'm engaged to a wonderful man named Dean, and I love him with all of my heart. He's been a part of my life since Chris was about six months old, he's the only Daddy he knows, and even though they look so different, Chris is as much his son as Connor is, in our hearts. He's an amazing father to both of our boys. Dean works for Wildlife Solutions, basically he catches and releases any type of animal that ends up in or to close to people's houses or businesses. He loves his job, it's an aweful lot like playing sometimes. I'm a stay at home mom most of the time, but I'm also a waitress if we ever need a little extra cash, or if I just need to get out of the house for a while. I actually do enjoy working, but I'm a happy housewife at heart. We have a giant German Shephard dog named Oakley. He's just barely over two years old, and weighs about as much as I do. The best part is, he's convinced he's a lap-dog. He loves to snuggle and always wants to sit on the couch with me. He's constantly knocking things over because he seems to think he can fit under the tables, or behind the shelves. He's wonderful with the boys though, Connor jumps all over the poor dog almost every time he lays down. Now that I think about it, maybe that's why he's always trying to get under or behind things... hmm... lol.

I don't really have any friends with kids, so the boys are pretty much stuck with me. They don't mind most of the time, because I try really hard to keep the mbusy and entertained, but I know that's not the same as hanging out with friends. They do see a lot of kids at parks and what not, but it'd be nice to have someone to hang out with on a regular basis, for all of us really. I could honestly use a few new friends that actually had something in common with me. I love my friends, but it's kinda like I'm outgrowing them, they're still out partying all the time, and me and Dean are raising kids and taking care of our home.

I'm up for pretty much anything in life. I love spending time outside, either at home or away. Me and the boys are always out running around, at the beach, all the different parks around here, camping, bike riding, golfing, horseback riding, you name it and we'll try it.

I don't really get out very often, without the kids. Dean and I have date night at least twice a month, which is very nice don't get me wrong, but I honestly can't remember the last time I had a girls night out.. It'd be really nice to get to know some people and set something along those lines up. I'm not really much of a drinker, and I don't dance... But I can't think of too many places I'm not willing to go for a night out.

Well, I guess that's about it... If there's anything else you wanna know, just ask. I'm a very open person, and it's pretty much impossaible to annoy or offend me.
