I love music, art, films, photography
I homeschool my son who has high functioning autism
we currently take violin lessons together
my son has a talent for teahcing me to learn and look at things in a different way.
My honest honest opinion. Kids, esp boys, really don't ned 'formal school' until they are 8. Find different ways to have him trace. write in a salt tray, use fingerpaits, paint brushes, sidewalk chalk. draw/write on each others backs. Do other activities that promote hand dexterity. when he gets frustrated- stop. learnig won't hapen when he's frustrated.
How old is he? We used hands on stuff & unit studies and projects. I suggest hands on and not seatwork (as much as possible), frequent breaks for doing something physical.
