I have 2 children. Jasmine Skye and Mikayla Nichole (bio and step respectively). I love them both like they are my very own. My husband and I both have custody of our children so we are thier parent's 90% of the time. I work a pretty normal job, have a pretty normal house, and live a pretty normal life. I met my wonderful husband on www.eharmony.com. It's a great website if you are looking for a serious relationship. I've never been more compatible with anyone than I am with him. We had our formal wedding on October 7, 2007 (though we have been common law since December 2006). We had a WONDERFUL honeymoon in Jamaica right after. My DH (Rodney) has promised that he will take me back in a few more years so I'm very excited about that. 

I have 3 cats. Smokey and Bandit were foster brothers I adopted from the HSPCA. Smokey is all black and deaf but totally sweet once you gain his trust. Bandit is a Siamese/rag doll mix with beautiful blue eyes and loves to cuddle. Both were rescues and Smokey was abused which is how he lost his hearing. Diamond is my other cat. She was adopted after my sweetheart Moose died. She is more my dad's cat than mine though.

I work as much as I can with Headmutha and Mothers Fighting for Others on some projects both locally and abroad. My local project is a drive to collect supplies and clothing for the children housed at Depelchin Children's Center. It's a foster care facility in Houston that houses children in the foster care program that don't have foster families. There are so many things I want to do that I have to be constantly reminded that I need to take it one step at a time. Maybe, I'm not so normal anymore but the more people that group together to make a difference the more "normal" it becomes.
