10 things that define me:

1.  I was raised the 7th of 10 kids in an LDS family growing up on a farm.

2.  I love being 30 and can't wait for gray hair.  Yes I know it's nuts, but I like aging.  I want to be a wise old woman!

3.  Soy latina!  Orgullosamente Peruana!!

4.  My DH is half Russian but never really realized it until we started dating and he met my super family history style family.

5.  My DH & I have actually known each other since sophmore year in HS but didn't start dating till we were 23.

6.  I wanted a Star Trek wedding but got all angry at the wedding planner at the Las Vegas Hilton.  We still got married in Vegas though.

7.  We have a blended family and I think we do an incredible job of maintaining a positive parenting relationship between households.

8.  My SS's biomom hates me and I don't agree with most of her... life.  In spite of this #7 is still TRUE!

9.  There is no separation in my heart for how I feel about my boys.  Step and bio are prefixes I add to them as an explanation for people who feel it's needed.

10.  I work at home and I'm very good at what I do.  DH and I would still trade places in a heartbeat if the opportunity arose.  We feel strongly about having at least one parent either SAH or WAH.
