I've basically been a stay-at-home mommy for the past 10 years loving my three beautiful miracles. My middle son, Zach, was diagnosed in 2004 with a rare genetic disorder called FG Syndrome. He has severe tantrums, autistic-like behaviours, sensory integration, ADHD, and developmental delays. I did work part time on and off for different companies, but my family was always my priority. My husband was diagnosed with a terminal brain disease called Frontotemporal Dementia in September, 2005 (alot like Alzheimer's). We also found out more about my husband's prognosis at this time. Much more deterioration with more perfusion in his brain (lack of blood flow), AND NOW THE DOCTORS ARE ALSO SEEING DEFICITS IN HIS BASAL GANGLIA...what does this mean??? Possible Parkinson's ON TOP of the dementia. So we're back to living in doctor's offices. But as Josh groban puts it best..."there's so much to be thankful for"...still...
