I am a stay at home mother of one. I just moved to Modesto 8 months ago. I have been happily married to "chef" for 1.5 years.  I am so very blessed to have him to share my life with.  Our son is the thrasher! His name is Asher and we've decided to call him the thrasher.  He is 16 months old and the love of my life!  He is also the reason for gray hairs and scars on my face.  His most recent developments are talking back, telling me NO. What happened to my sweet little love-bug?  He's growing up too fast! I have just joined a mommy group here in Modesto, Ca.  We are just a bif group of  SAHM's and part-timers looking for adult conversation and to get outdoors.  We do park picnics, pot-lucks, and go swimming often.  It is nice to have made friends so fast.  Modesto is a wonderful town filled with kind-hearted people and I am happy to have moved here.
