I am a mom of a military man,{army} who has been in and out of the service 3 times, so I guess I might be a pro, but its always a difficult time to be the mom behind the soldier, as I guess most here know and understand....THe last time he reenlisted , I cried, but finally realized this is what my son wants and feels this is his career.....so I always supported him before, but its been 13 years of worry, and it never feels ok, when I know he is away. I usually help , by going into what I call 'Prayer mode" when he is off and in danger.....and depend on GOd to take care of my son....I live in a small town in southern Illinois, and enjoy the simple life.enjoy gardening, decorating, my grandkids, {I have 5, from 17 to 6,}the outdoors, my chihuhuas, {I have two females},swimming, talking about most everything.I am a good listener, and enjoy giving to this world....would like to communicate with other military moms for friendship and support, so if you would like to talk, please just let me know.....Sharon
