First and most importantly, I am a mother. I have two beautiful children that are happy, healthy and active. My daughter [2 months] is exclusively breastfed, I wear her often, she sleeps with us and I don't let her cry it out. My son, who is 3, is extremely active and bright. He loves fruit and cheese and never drinks soda or eats candy [I don't have it in the house]. My son has an amazing imagination and is extremely smart for his age. I take pride in knowing I'm raising my children the best possible way I can. I stay at home with them now and am even looking into working at home so I don't have to leave them at a daycare. I believe in attachment parenting and most things natural. I don't eat organic all the time and I do selectively vaccinate, so I'm not totally crunchy. \
I am married to my best friend [over 4 years] who happens to be a US Marine. We went to high school together and have known each other for almost 8 years now. He's currently stationed in Tucson, AZ as a recruiter and we just bought our first house. I'm hoping he can do I&I duty after his recruiting time is over, because I want to stay here with our families. I have to mention that I am VERY proud of my husband and the military as a whole, I fully support him and all of our troops. However, I do not agree with our current leader, I think him and his advisors are a bunch of morons. I can't wait until we get to elect a new president, one I'm hoping will help improve our economy, global warming, and our situation in Iraq and maybe find a way to lower gas prices.
Some of my favorite things are makeup [MAC specifically], clothes [I'm pretty boring in that department though because I only really shop at the gap. I only wear flip flops, or my uggs in the winter. I haven't been able to find real shoes that I enjoy wearing.], magazines [Mothering and In Style], TV [What Not To Wear, Lost, Prison Break, House, American Hot Rod, Mythbusters, Smallville] and reading. I've been on a Harry Potter kick lately.. I'm on the 2nd book and have seen all of the movies. I find the story fascinating and believe all children should read these books, they're timeless. I'm definitely a Gryffindor fan.. though Snape is pretty hot ;] I also love chocolate, Arizona sunsets, my dog Bill, shopping, working out, water, my car ['04 passat wagon] and Vera Bradley purses.
