I love my Lord Jesus Christ.  My hope is to glorify Him in all that I do.  No, I'm not perfect, but I'm growing and learning thanks to His word and His love.  I've been through some pretty rotten stuff, at the hands of people who said they loved me.....I'm thankful for the trials because the Bible says "Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds"  in James 1:2.  God truly uses all circumstances for our good and His glory and I am thankful He has used and is using me.  Romans 8:28 "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose."  I hope to be an encouragement to others through the struggles I've experienced.

Having teenagers is just another way for God to test us and increase our faith!!  I've homeschooled all of my kids until high school, my older two go to a local public school that I'm happy with.  My youngest is still home schooled and is going into 7th grade.  Home schooling is a great blessing, though you will most certainly shed tears along the way, and think that you are totally unqualified   It's worth it and you won't be sorry you did it once you get over the 'bumps'.  I just started a new part time job at the YMCA in wellness/fitness and it's so great!  Go visit your local Y!

If you don't know that Christ is your savior, I'm here to tell you that He loves you even though you are a sinner too (like the rest of us!) and He's got a wonderful message of love in His word and He'd love to call you "daughter".  I'm happy to answer any questions you have, or tell you that I just don't know!
