I am a SAHM of one wonderful baby boy.  I've worked with animals all of my life and always heard that raisng a child is similar to training a puppy or a horse.  I never dreamed how true it would be. LOL! 

I have 2 homes right now.  My dh is remodeling his uncle's house here in Tennessee, and we have a home in South Carolina.  The "couple of months" project has surpassed the 6 month point and is quickly turning into 18 months to 2 years before we finish!  In the beginning dh would travel the 7 hr trip every other wkend, and I would remain at home in SC.  Since the baby was born (May '06), we've both made the trip many many times!  Quite a treck with a baby in tow, but we're getting used to it.  Good thing is, the car usually puts Thad to sleep in 30 minutes.  Bad thing is, our 7 hr trip turns into 9 or 10 hrs.  We stop much more frequently to let baby get a little wiggle time.

So, while we're not traveling back and forth,and when Daddy's working, we like to go to the Zoo, or park, or the outlet mall.  Anything to keep him occupied and happy! 

I never thought I would be a sahm.  Honestly, I wasn't really sure that I even wanted kids ,,,, but wow!  what a kid will do to ya!!!  I think we'll have a couple more!  :))
