My name is Julie. I'm from Maine, living in Vt. I had a dream once-to have a husband, kids, a family. My dream came true. I have a wonderful family that I adore & love unconditionally. With that dream, however, comes the not-so-rosy aspects that I never dared think about. Debt, fights w/my husband, w/the kids, growing pains, job uncertainty, dreams that didn't come true & also who I am. How in this reality, I become a wife, a mother, caregiver, negotiater, nurse & multi-tasker. But where did I go? Where is that woman before her dream came true? What happened to her? Well, I'm trying to find out. I know now that in order to be great mom & wife, I need to be a great me. She's buried somewhere, but digging herself out slowly. She's let herself go a bit, not as slim as she once was, she's aged a bit & is plucking out those grey hairs that say hello every so often. She still has her great sense of humor, her wit & her ability to dance around the house when no one is looking. That's some of who she is. Who I am. With that comes-Who am I? How have these years, experiences changed me, molded me? Well, I'm ready to explore this pandora's box that is about to open. I'm just having trouble with the lock.
