I'm a single mom in New Jersey, having recently moved back home to get my financial situation straightened out as best I can.  I currently work at a grocery store (oddly, I love it) and my son is attending a school where his progress has been absolutely amazing.  I spend almost all of my free-time with my son.  I love to read, write and watch movies.  I'm a passionate hockey fan.  I don't get to get out of the house very often, I'd love to meet some other mom's to hang out with, maybe have a play date with the kids.  My son needs all the social contact he can get--he hasn't mastered the art of being comfortable in social situations yet.  I do "work from home" by way of PayPerPost which allows me to make a little cash posting reviews/ads in my blogs and I'm a Noah's Ark Animal Workshop rep  (www.bearyspecialhugs.com).  I'm also attempting to lose some weight with the help of SparkPeople.com, although I've been slacking off a bit in the past few months.  I need to get back on the ball there.  One of the things I enjoy most in life is cooking.  I'm especially excited around the holidays, because baking is so much fun and so decadent.  Diets be damned at the holiday season!
