I live in Colorado Springs at the base of Pikes Peak (our most famous mountain peak).  I'm married to my best friend Jason. We've been married for almost 15 years. I'm lucky enough to be a stay-at-home mom to Timothy and Brittany. For the last 5 years I've been homeschooling Timothy and this is Brittany's third year to homeschool.

I love to read ( reading is like an addiction for me, one that I'm not willing to give up. I adore almost any kind of book and love discussing them with others. The only kind of books that I don't care for are horror), cross-stitching, doing crafts, watching movies, playing board games, walking in the mountains, watching thunderstorms, working with my stones, tarot, runes, cooking and spending time with my hubby and kids.

We have a small zoo at our house. We have a cat named Peek-a-boo, a teacup poodle named Peanut(she thinks she's a dobby), a mini poodle named Monty(my killer of vaccums and carpet cleaners ... or so he thinks!!) and two crazy guinea pigs  to round it all out.
