One of the Ft Hood victims is a relative and buried in cemetery next to my house. Has been very military aware here the past weeks.

I am a stay at home empty nester of 3 boys. I used to own a knit shop and taught knitting & crocheting in Las Vegas. I LOooooove to knit and I like crocheting too. I prefer to crochet with thread and make doilies and frilly things, curtains etc. I like natural fibers, no red heart in my stash. Mostly wool or cotton. I also spin a little. I'm still learning. I love to try new techniques. I also weave a little , again I'm still learning. I hope to be learning something the rest of my life. Whether it's a new finishing technique or a new way to join yarn, or even how to knit socks on 2 circular needles instead of 5 dp's.
