My name is Susan and I am a navy wife and mother of 2 sweet children.  My husband and I have a 3 year old son and a 8 month old daughter and they both keep us very busy and very entertained!  We are an environmentally conscious family.  We use cloth for anything we feasibly can, this includes diapers, wipes, kitchen cloth and dusters.  My husband is a bike commuter and we would love to someday convert to solar energy!

I have been sewing ever since I can remember.  Many generations above me have been skilled seamstresses.  My grandmother taught my mother, my mother taught me.  I remember being very young and sitting on the floor with my sister as our mom was sewing us new dresses or costumes, etc.  The sound of a sewing machine has always been very soothing to me and I love what I do!!
