My name is Barbara and I am a stay at home mom. I found CafeMom a few months after it started and have made several friends!  I'm so lucky to have them because I am very very shy and have a hard time making friends.  So, to all my girlfriends here, Thanks!  I have loved watching CafeMom grow into this spectacular site for mom's from all walks of life! 

I have three kids all girls and two grand-kids. I love to play online games and i love to cook. I have some fantastic recipes so if anyone is looking for something good just let me know and I'll zap one up for ya! I have a fantastic chewy chocolate chip cookie recipe.  They are to die for!  I also like fractal art.  I use it as my background and like to change it every so often.  If you're interested in trying it, let me know.  I have a great program that is very easy to learn and a lot of fun.  I'm also an admin in Toadilly Grand Slammin Profiles and you can find my work there. 

My mom passed away on December 7, 2006.  It still feels like yesterday.  She was my best friend and I miss her very very much. I have been very depressed lately because of my loss.  I'm doing much better now, and time has helped.  I know she is always with me but, that doesn't make up for her not being by my side now. Some day I will see her again. 

I am an Empathic/ Medium and my personal 'spiritual' journey has been an exciting and rewarding one. I had to go through many life-changing experiences to understand what my calling was in life.  It's been uplifting for me and I'm very excited to keep learning about my abilities.  I love my psychic realm group and it's very rewarding to be around women who understand my journey.  I love to be around women who understand what this kind of gift is and the responsibilities that can come with it.  Letting yourself just "BE" who you are is such a wonderful feeling.  I don't care for people who throw negative thoughts and words at those they don't understand.  However, I will always wish them peace and love regardless of what they think.
