This is unreal. I can't believe we as a nation have become so apathetic that we don't care about the well-being of others...

seeing things like that makes me wonder why people are so heartless. and you know i read the artical and i think the medical professionals involved should loose their license. what is happening to america? i dont understand how people who devote their life helping and saving others can become so bitter and not give a damn.

This is horrible. It's unbelievable these days that people just don't care anymore.

The one lady in the left corner sat there the whole time and didn't even ask someone to help her! This is absurd!

How terrible, and the saddest part is this has nothing to so with our health care system or government, it is the people.
What does it cost someone to go and see her, try to help her... check if she's okay.
I've never been to NY, so I don't know if seeing a person laying on the ground is somewhat common, and I mean that with no offence or sarcasm, I really don't know what the situation is like there.

This happens daily in institutions, nursing homes and hospitals.Which is why I'm so committed to ADAPT.I utilize my right to civil disobidience to protest these conditions and stand up for the rights of my disabled brothers and sisters. My late DH spent the first 25 yrs of his life in one of Ga's largest mental institutions because He had Brittle bone diseaes and needed attendant care. His IQ at 2 was 160 go figure.Check out adapt.org to see the stats and info that would floor you. There are ADAPT protest clips on youtube.
