FOXNews.com - 14-Year-Old South Carolina Boy Charged With Raping, Killing 8-Year-Old Girl

foxnews.com - GREENVILLE, S.C. — A 14-year-old South Carolina boy accused of raping and killing an 8-year-old girl is due in court.

Master Deputy Mike Hildebrand says a hearing is scheduled in Family Court in Greenville at noon Thursday.

Dymia Janae Woody was reported missing Monday evening. Deputies found her body early Tuesday in a nearby mobile home that had no electricity. An autopsy showed she died of asphyxia after being sexually assaulted.

Hildebrand said the teenager lived in the same neighborhood and is believed to have known the girl. His name has not been released because of his age. Hildebrand says the boy voluntarily submitted a DNA sample, as did others in the neighborhood.

Hildebrand says deputies do not expect to make other arrests.
