  Thank you for posting this information. It may make some people look into themselves and their motives. I know some of what I have read on here has been totally racist by people insisting in several groups and on several posts that they are not racist. Quoting Shakespeare "Me thinks they doth protest too much!"

  this video almost made me cry .. it just goes to show you how the media and movies place African Americans does influence these children, my children are very proud of their heritage and now i understand why my husband only likes them to have dolls of color !!

  I think racism is a very subconscious thing for people. Most know that racism is a negative term so they don't want to come out and say I'm racist, so they talk in big 'ol circles trying to get around it and it's so sad.
  
  I want to try this experiment with my daughter. Of course I don't think she would chose a "better" doll she would probably just want both of them, LOL but I want to know what her subconscious has picked up in her 3 short years. I'll let you know what she chooses:)

  well it is sad that people end up being like that on line 2 the point where even having a good time on the you tube but there's alot of good and bad comment's on that site and you wonder why don't you stay out of the chat line or the you tube cause you can't even be nice on it and then you will be stating bad comment's n e way's so stay off the youtube you know... calm down and have peace...

  well... good point.

  that is sad. but the youtube comments never bother me - they're mostly 13 year olds just trying to shock. i really think the majority of the idiotic comments there aren't what those people truly feel. or, maybe that's just what i tell myself :)
