Cops behaving badly
wnd.com - Wow! What happened to serve and protect. There are way too many incidents nowadays with police brutality, misconduct, and corruption to turn the other cheek. I know there are still some good cops out there, but the rise of corruption within the police force is alarming.

I used to live in Indy... I never heard about all this mess with the cops. Yikes! Glad I never had trouble!

It's so sad that these bad cops give the good cops a bad name!

I know there are mostly GOOD cops with a few bad apples that make life for the rest of them hell.

My county is very good for so called "bad" cops. There is a lawyer now that i know of taking on two cases. My husband and I also tried but didnt have a leg to stand on. My husband was forced to plead guilty to resisting arrest so that he could avoid going to jail for something he didn't do. The cops were charging him with harassment against a police officer, resisting arrest and harassment against one of the other guys that were there (not a cop). The cop through a punch and continued to punch my husband in the gut. Gave him an orbital fracter which is caused by a very hard blow to the face. They said that he fell on a beer can. At the hospital one cop came in and asked "what the hell happened" and then the one said "My partner "thought" he was going to lunge at him so he took him to the ground. The cop that hit my dh immediately left. The one that did not shortly after incident resigned.

Talk about bad cops...Montague Sherriff's Dept (yes, this is the same police group represented in Smokey and the Bandit (some things never change). Mom mother was threatened with a knife and held captive in her own home; by, my drug addicted baby brother and the cop did NOTHING! My mother had to wait till he went to the restroom to make a run for the neighbors. He told him to go cool off? He further stated for her to be able to kick him out he had to be evicted!!! I took it one better.. she has gave up the home she was buying and moved closer to me and the rest of the family. We moved her while he was hanging with friends. He has no idea where she is and no transportation to go looking for her. He can only call her at work! May sound cold...but, sometimes your kids are not safe to be around. If he straightens himself out mom would bend over backwards to help him.
