Usmagazine.com | News - Sarah Palin Sent Legal Letter by "Barracuda" Singers

usmagazine.com - These types of complaints make no sense to me-You would think they had gotten plenty of downloads and made alot of money for the push the RNC or the DNC gave the songs....This is too much for me anyway-An "I'm sorry" check your sales should do or, maybe a spot on Oprah who won't even interview Sarah Palin until AFTER the win! Go McCain/Palin!////

How silly! Obviously they haven't made enough money on the songs yet!

"Sarah Palin's views and values in NO WAY represent us as American women. We ask that our song 'Barracuda' no longer be used to promote her image. The song 'Barracuda' was written in the late '70s as a scathing rant against the soulless, corporate nature of the music business, particularly for women. (The 'barracuda' represented the business.) While Heart did not and would not authorize the use of their song at the RNC, there's irony in Republican strategists' choice to make use of it there."

    What don't you get??

Hahahaha that is awesome! Heart is a great band that in no way would like to be associated with Sarah Palin and John McCain... they definitely should have asked permission!

Who cares about Heart? Talk about over the hill has-beens! A much better song for Sarah Palin would be "I am Woman", or "Man, I feel like a woman", both of which have much better messages, and convey who she is, and what she stands for! Heart can keep their stupid song, and as for Oprah, I seriously doubt Gov. Palin is sitting around, wringing her hands going "oh, when is Oprah going to have me on her show?" She has much more important things to focus on than that.

You can't just go around using artists' art without permission! What don't people understand about that?

As a supporter of McCain/Palin, you can't use a song to promote ones image without the "OK"...It would of probably been fine if Heart was a supporter but obviously they are not... Who needs the song....She IS THE REAL THING : )

McCain/Palin are drawing the same amount of people on the campaign trail as Obama, and are  raising money like crazy. Who cares about Heart....Bring it on...whooohooooo
