site.pfaw.org - Sarah Palin presents herself as speaking for mainstream Americans, but her stances — against reproductive choice, against equality for gays, against freedom of speech — are extreme. Take action!
"Sarah Palin is an intelligent, well spoken woman, but it must be made clear:
We don’t want a country in which women who are raped are refused the right to choose abortion.
We don’t want a country in which religious dogma is taught in public school science class.
We don’t want a country where gay and lesbian citizens are discriminated against.
We don’t want a country where books are banned from public libraries..."
Amen.
ditto.
Couldnt have said it better myself. I really hope that people take the time and think about what this election means. I would have loved having a women VP in the white house, but I refuse to vote McCain in just because thats what I want. Shes not ready for VP let alone Pres.
My dad sent this to me yesterday. DH and I both signed.
Great post......
She doesn't speak for me either! Although I'm So glad McCain added her to his ticket. Obama/Biden will win by a landslide.
Thanks for the link. Good one!
But if Governor Palin discovered reasons for defending any of those issues you have mentioned-She would speak long and hard to defend-all it takes is getting the proof on which to base the issue. She has what it takes to Advocate-no fear, speaking ability, and a good sense of justice! Go McCain/Palin!////
Palin isn't extreme, people's caricature of her is. If you took half a minute to calm down and search for yourself, you'd see she doesn't advocate half the things that you think she does.
Get your head out of your liberal blogosphere for a sec and breathe some real air...you'll feel better I promise you.
www.ontheissues.org, ladies. It's not liberal at all.
