Does our government know of an upcoming national emergency that we don't? They weren't ready to help Katrina victims, but are sure ready to enact Martial Law!
U.S. Army Infantry Brigade has been assigned "to provide command and control for federal homeland defense efforts and coordinate defense support of civil authorities". They may be called upon to help with civil unrest and crowd control.

In the aftermath of the 9/11 tragedy, the PATRIOT Act became law with great haste . I call this law the "greatest single assault on personal and financial privacy in U.S. history."
Great post......I have been an opponent of the Patriot Act since it became into existence..It is unconstitutional.

I'm just so thankful that there are people here that "get it". People I deal with in everyday life, either can't believe that the government doesn't love us and want the best for us, or don't want to think about it because it's depressing. I jusst want to shake them!

I would bump this a million times if I could.
First on hitler's list, was disarming the people.
Please practice your right to bear arms and don't give that up, it's the only thing between us and the government.
We should inform ourselves on the occurrences in nazi germany to not fall in the same traps.
