omg someone should burn for this. i'd be damned if I go into a hospital to have my baby and come out with no arms or legs. holy hell man. she should sue for every penny they have then close them down until someone with some sense who knows how to run a hospital can open one up.

UNBELIEVABLE! Obviously this is a rare event, but it makes you think twice about going to the hospital for any reason, much less for something as healthy and normal as childbirth!

WOW, that is scary! I mean if they would just tell her what happened, they dont even have to NAME who had it, they screwed up, they owe her so much, poor woman and her family :(

This is unbelievable.I think maybe they got their patients or files mixed up and by the time they realized it it was to late.Now they wont tell this woman what happened to her because they are trying to cover their a**.they are trying to figure what to say and the best they could come up with is streptococcus. I'm pretty sure she'll sue I hope she buries that hospital when she's done.nothing can take the place of bonding with your children.I hope the money she receives is a small consolation for the pain and heartache she will go through the rest of her life.

how can they NOT tell her y? i mean its HER body. i couldnt even imagine that happening to anyone. my heart goes out to her and her family. i hope she is able to get some justice for this.

I pray that they win their lawsuit against the hospital and the doctors for doing such a thing. That is so awful to think that something like that could happen in America. You hear of it happening in third world counrtirs but not here! May God bless Claudia and her family!!
