  This is so sad. I really hope justice is served. I really dont know where i stand on the brainwashed issue.

  Terrible. But I don't think it's a "society" thing. She was an individual who changed religions (Hindu to Christianity). She chose her beliefs and religious group to study with, then followed their Biblical interpretions, apparently. Her poor mother (and toddler).

  Sad - when people are desparate they will accept anything. Can you imagine someone telling you your child is a demon because at one year old he does not say "amen"?
