Just got back...
Be the first to comment My Mom and I went to our local Family Mission and took down a few things to donate. The amin things were 2 fake trees...big ones, lol. I called ahead, and they siad they would LOVE to have them. They have a mens shelter, a womans and childrens house, and another building to help people that just need support and not shelter. So, I load up these 2 huge trees into my SUV, along with 2 14lb turkeys, some school supplies, and my Mom brought some nice clothing, too.
So, we get there, and the man comes out to help us unload...someone is always waiting at the...

Bathroom remodeling is NO fun, lol...
I don't have a BEOFRE picture, but let me paint you a picture...
Peptobismal PINK walls, GREEN plastic tiles on the wall, WHITE floors, and a rust stained bathtub...oh, and a 60" vanity cabinet with counters that were WHITE with gold flecks...we not only tore it apart, but we made it BIGGER!!! About 3 feet bigger...It used to be, you couldn't walk through the bathroom with the cabinet doors open...or with someone else in there...

Cats, kittens, and more...

And 2 kittens that we rescued...not from a shelter, but from bad situations...
PREVIOUSLY...
We had a cat, that died...she was born with health problems...we didn't know that, until after we agreed to take her when the landlord found her...
We also had adopted 1 Rottie from the pound...they held off on euthanizing him until we could get there...he was a great dog, but he passed away 5 years ago, on Halloween night, he somehow, got his runner un-hooked, and was hit on the road...
At the same time as the Rottie, we adopted, from the pound, 2 puppies who...

Good or bad, it always comes back.
And for once in my life the GOOD things have been coming back.
It used to be, when I was in school, not that long ago, actually...
That I got along with everyone...and I do mean everyone in my class...
But, for the most part, I stuck with the boys. Still do to this day. Not sure why, but they accepted me more readily than anyone else. Oh, everyone else was polite and decent, but it was still not easy-going. And the boys I spent the most time with,...

This year, things aren't great, but they are better than last year. I've got 90% of my x-mas shopping done, and still have 9 paychecks until x-mas. I bought things throughout the year, and I KNOW I have more than we need (or want to deal with, lol).
I would LOVE to adopt a family for x-mas. And I was hoping to talk to my DS's Kindergarten teacher to see if there are any families in his grade that could use the help. That way, there would be a better chance of the kids getting what they like, since DS knows them personally, you know? (maybe even...

Please, if you have pets. Be it cats, dogs, or whatever, PLEASE...
Don't drop them off...
If your kitten is growing up, and you can't afford to have her fixed...
If your cat is having issues with clawing things...
Or you just don't have the time...
Please, find them a home...even if it's at a shelter.
I hate to say take them to a shelter, but some times it's better.
And PLEASE SPAY OR NEUTER your pets...
