October 15th, Wednesday, was National Day of Remembrance for pregnancy and infant loss. I didn't even know that this existed. This includes all babies who have died because of miscarriage, stillbirth, SIDS, or any other infant death. My sister-in-law just shared this with me and although the day is past I still want to send this out there with LuvNHugz, SupportNPrayerz to all of you that can share this moment. No matter how it happens the loss of a baby is on hard us. Early in the pregnancy, later after birth, without warning or even if you know that there were issues to...

I think I've waited too long, but I need help. My dad needs to find a program - BAD. I just don't know which one to go with. How bad???? drinks 12-24 cans of beer - warm (Iowa outside summer warm) a DAY, his anger is horrible, lashing out at everyone and everything, even because the sky is blue sometimes (well almost).... We are to the point that we're beyond being worried about him, but we worry about how his alcohol induced stupidity is going hurt someone else, drunk driving - fighting.... He FINALLY at 47 got his first OWI, 'legal'...

crappy, rainy, stormy. We've had plenty of rain, tornadoes, humidity and everything else right now. It would be great to have some 'nicer' days soon!!

I haven't really had my eye on anything, but the brain is. Pretty much since getting p-g with the twins the 'tatas' have grown tremendously and I have yet to find a bra that fits again in any decent way. It's really starting to suck!!!!!!

An earlier post states that breastfed babies are smarter, so...My 7 year old is no dummy compared to where my 4 year old is shaping up to be and time will tell with the twins. Breastfeeding is a wonderful thing that not every mother and child is able to do. For those that can it's great, but for those that can't (adoptive mothers, babies with feeding issues, mothers that can't make any/enough milk - I'm sure the list is long) formula does do it's job in providing the necessary nutrition for that first year of life. I am disappointed to think that just...

Why is it that 'your' family can really suck?? My in laws are the best, my hubby is amazing to deal with what I brought to the table though. I feel super-overwhelmed some days. Dealing with this crap can make me sick to my stomach - how disturbing...I can't even put it into words and if I tried it would be pages upon pages long, so it'll be short and sweet and barely worth it, but this helps anyway.Have a Happy Monday for me - please....

Share this with anyone you know that could use it. http://www.babyzone.com/baby/nurturing/crying/photos_decode_baby_cries Saw a pacifier post (in one of the twins groups) and thought I'd finally get around to sharing this. I had heard about this a LONG time ago and have kept it in the back of my mind until I could see if it works. Our twins are 7 wks old and I've been trying this and it really does work. Now mind you sometimes they're crying and just want held or coddled or whatever so this isn't the 100% of the time answer but I'd say 90% of the...
