My Lovely October
Be the first to commentOk, so clearly I still don't have internet at home. Oh well. Here's an update!So, the big big news is. . .Jon and I are married. =). That was October 20. The next set of news is Alaina is now 2 (happened on the 28th). I still can't quite believe it honestly.She had her 2 year checkup and it was traumatic but we took her out for lunch and then to the store to spend some of her birthday money and she was fine afterwards.Yesterday was Halloween and Alaina'a birthday party. Feels like it's time for an update. I kind of hate having to only post update journals. But until we get internet back at the house it's really all I can do. It's wierd trying to type anything thought provoking or creative when I'm not at my house...Something about the limited time I guess...
But yes...I still lack internet and cable at home. I think we've been without since late May. We were just about to pay it off and then the truck kind of died on us. So the first thing any "extra" money has to take care...

Jon and I have (FINALLY) set a date! I can't tell you yet because I'm waiting for my Mom to get back from Israel so I can tell her first. Sorry =). What I can tell you is that it is the fall of this year---My Mom comes back this coming Thursday so you guys get to find out the actual date sometime after that.
So, I've been thinking...My Dad has told me that he could pay for a small ceremony and that's cool but I just don't know if that's what we'll do. I mean---I DO WANT a ceremony but for several reasons we're thinking about just going to the JP....

Haha. It was so cute I thought to myself "I need to post about this while I'm here at a computer with internet." So you know it was super cute!
All is well with me---just as poor as ever but it's ok! Getting more anxious by the hour about Chloe coming. I can hardly wait. Tomorrow at my dotor's appointment we're doing what will most likely be my last ultrasound. I'm glad to because I've been super curious as to how big she'll be (roughly, yes but still...)

Saddest. Stretchmarks. Ever.
Comments (1)I knew to expect stretchmarks this pregnancy. And for the most part they don't bother me--they're bound to happen and I've also found BIO OIL. I swear I love that stuff.
But here's the part that I just can't get over...
I have stretchmarks...

KNEES!
Yes,you read that right. Stretchmarks right above my knees. And I just can't figure it out. I haven't been gaining much weight and the weight I have gained is in my stomach, boobs, and upper arms. Why, oh why is the skin above my knees stretching!? Someone help explain this to me!

Am I C-Section Imminent? =(
Comments (2) So, I had my doctor's appointment to day and it all went basically well. Doctor is glad I'm controlling my gestational diabetes well but apparently I've got to start keeping a written log of my numbers (as opposed to keeping them in the moniter) because it's easier for her to look at. Ugh. One more thing I have to do. But whatever...
It was going fine until she asks me "You've had a previous c-section, haven't you?" So I said yes and explained why. (It was due to Alaina's cord being wrapped around her abdomen and my dialtion also slowed....
