Well, I had the opportunity to speak with Dietician Judy on 2 occasions, and both conversations were very educational.  I learned more than I thought I would  by talking with her.  My son's eating habbits have gotten so much better because of this opoportunity.  I am not saying that  all our eating obstacles are perfect, but I now have the tools to work with him on that.  I know now what needs to be done on a regular basis to make the routine of eating healthier work.  My son is eating more vegetables, fruits, and is trying new foods almost daily.  He has surprised himself with how well he is eating. This week when he got weighed at the doctors office, it was the FIRST TIME SINCE HE WAS BORN that he was a perfect weight for his age. He has always been EXTREMELY underweight, this las year he has put on some weight and muscle, and this past month or 2 he has been very well, so he now weighs a perfect 50 pounds at the age of 6 1/2.  Some might say, well thats still a little low, well, if he's in the 40 percentile then I'll be happy. He has always been in the 10% for his weight, lol, so this is a major improvement. HA.  Well, thank you DieticianJudy and thank you Juicy Juice and CafeMOM.  This opportunity to speak with Judy gave me the extra push to get my kids to eat healthy!

Still want to know your tricks about the veggies. I still cannot get Anthony to eat anything but fruit. He doesn't even want it on his plate and screams and throws a fit!

Happy happy joy joy!  Doing the happy dance for you!

Congrats on getting your boy on the healthy eating track.  I'm sure he will thank you for all your hard work when he is a healthy, active adult.
