After talking to the dietician, Judy, who was very helpful, I placed Olivia (my little picky eater) on a diet plan. I had Olivia helping me "cook", passing me the ingredients I needed or putting stuff like the milk back in the fridge when I am done with it. We went over the food pyramid together and why it was important to get a "balanced diet". We do the coloring sheet where she marks off the foods she's eaten. We've made a "dinner plate" using a paper plate and gluing on foods we'd like to try that we've cut out from magazines. She's still the pickiest eater in the apartment, but she is trying more things at least once rather than just crying and she's even started eating things she never ate before like asparagus and stuffing and meatloaf full of chopped onions and green peppers! I am so happy with her progress. Thanks cafemom, Juicy Juice and Dietician Judy!
