Thank you so much to all of you who have been so supportive and been praying hard that my sister be OK...WE got the results back this afternoon.  There is a small very small cyst on her brain. Not a tumor just a cyst. The Dr. apparently is not concerned about it. He says it s been there for a long time and it is not in an area that would have caused her to have had the seizures in the first place. So the cyst will stay with no worries. Now here is the scary part. Wanna hear what they have linked her seizures too. I am so very glad its not a tumor but what I'm about to tell you might just make you freak out a little especially if you do it .  So anyway the seizures were caused by ENERGY DRINKGS!!!! I totally thought the Dr was full of it and didn't have a clue. How could an energy drink make you have a seizure. WELL, my sister is in the middle of I have to get the last ten pounds off from my pregnancy last summer. So every morning she would drink one, exercise for over an hour, take a shower, have a cup of coffee mid morning and sometimes a glass of wine with dinner or after dinner. Well apparently the most amount of caffeine your body can handle with out any side effects is something like .380 mgs. Don't quote me on that but I know its very close. Most energy drinks have just about that in one can well my sister would drink the double size cans which is two servings.  Anyway they explained to her in all the medical terminology what they think caused them. So being that I live on line some days I decided to Google energy drinks linked to seizures. OMG! There was a kid who died at his basketball game because he had a seizure. Right before he played he had two red bulls.  And then the articles just kept coming. I read in one of the medical studies that they are as addictive as low does of CRACK! And they freaking sell these drinks EVERYWHERE!!!!  I plan on posting the article I found in the journal of medicine on line that explains exactly what the energy drinks do to your brain. The ones that I have seen have zero warnings about anything on them. I did also find out that those who are epileptic (which my sister has also been ruled out for) but for those that are it is highly possible that these drinks will bring on full blown seizures for them as well. Don't see anything about that on there. The two seizures my sister had were very serious. She literally bit through her whole cheek and was completely bloody by the time they were over. She also had her hands around her throat and they couldn't get them off. I am soooo blown away by all of this. So I just really wanted to post everything I found out today because I know sooo many people live on this stuff and I really doubt that more that a small few know this can happen. I'm sure one a week wont bother you but if you drink them  every day multiple times a day or your an epileptic this could be a real concern for you. I got rid of them all. Think I am going to stick to hmmmm WATER.....and maybe a Dr.. pepper now and then because man i just love that stuff. Anyway thanks for all your prayers.....i love all my cafe mommies and i am so glad that I have developed and still developing great friendships from it. You guys are the best!
