Throughout the Gospels we can actually read the words that Jesus spoke.

What are some scriptures that are the spoken word of Jesus do you draw comfort from, strength from or just find uplifting?

 Matthew 19:26
Jesus looked at them and said,
"With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible."

Matthew 19:28
Jesus said to them,
"I tell you the truth, at the renewal of all things, when the Son of Man sits on his glorious throne, you who have followed me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel."

Matthew 26:36
[ Gethsemane ] Then Jesus went with his disciples to a place called Gethsemane, and he said to them,
"Sit here while I go over there and pray."

Great question!

For me, it's:

So it is not the will of my Father who is in heaven that one of these little ones should perish.- Matthew 18:14

Ooo...I that's an awesome script Ceci...I'm putting that in my Mommy hat!!

One of my faves is Mark 11:22-25:

"Have faith in God," Jesus answered. "I tell you the truth, if anyone says to this mountain, 'Go, throw yourself into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive him, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins."
