A Portable Water Purifier Keeps Kids Hydrated and Safe

Anybody with active kids will tell you that keeping those kids hydrated can sometimes be very difficult.  With all of the running and playing and going places, nobody wants to have to lug around a bunch of water and juice and who has the money to buy a water or juice at every stop in a kid's schedule?  Keeping the kids hydrated during overnight trips is even more difficult—particularly when you go camping or are going to be spending a great deal of time in the wilderness.  Having a portable water purifier is a great way to make sure that you have a way to keep your kids hydrated and safe as they go on wilderness hikes, camping trips and the like.

You can purchase a portable water filter or a portable water purification system in a number of places.  Any store that sells faucet water purifiers and filters is likely to have a section of the portable filter variety.  You can also order portable water filters from catalogs and over the internet.  Purchasing one of these filters is absolutely a sound investment.  If you can get your kids to carry one in their school bags or with them when they visit friends or take field trips, you will never have to worry about the water they have to drink.  You can rest assured that (if the kids remember to use the filters and purifiers) that the water they drink is perfectly safe!

If you have ever worried about whether your kids had easy enough access to fresh and clean water, you can stop worrying as soon as you purchase a portable water filter or a portable water purifier.  These tools will help you make sure that your kids always have safe water to drink and, in the long run, they will save you money!  Who needs (or wants) to carry around bottled water or buy many bottles of water over the course of the day?  Simply carry your portable water filter with you and you are all set!

That sounds like a great idea! I've seen portable water bottle/water filters which people can use for individually filtering their water. That way you can give one to your kid going to school so that they can filter the water fountain water or cafeteria water. But I've heard that a number of schools check thermoses now, at least for older kids, so you might not want to send it full of water, let them get their own. At least they were doing that some 8 years ago when I was in highschool. 

Thanks for sharing about it, water's so important to---life itself---and bad water can carry way too many diseases. I don't want to risk my kid's health over something that easily fixed. And it would really suck for them not to get enough water every day.

Just thinking about this again. It would be such a pain to give the kids a couple water bottles on the way to school. Like if I wanted them to have plenty of water I should probably give them at least 3 bottles for an entire day. Which is really expensive.

And as I said above, the schools tend to check thermoses. Sealed bottles might work, but empty bottles plus water fountains might work quite well.

That's also so much better than buying water bottles at school prices. Schools seems to charge a bit more for water in the vending machines than it costs when you buy it in bulk.
