Praise the Lord!!

My friend is who is pregnant just got to hear the babies heartbeat!  Wow, what a relief.  It still doesn't settle the nerves completely, but at least it's a good thing.  So, please keep continue to keep her and her baby in your prayers.  Pray for a safe and healthy pregnancy and delivery.  Also pray that the pregnancy treats her well, no sickness, no heartburn, no gestational diabetes, nothing but a healthy baby. 

I had a couple of people ask me how my quest for friendship was going.  So here's an update.  I have been calling a few people more regularly than I have before.  I have also reconnected to a few people via e-mail.  I have two friends who are going through some pretty serious things in their life and I am fasting this week and joining with them in prayer for healing in all areas of their lives.  I also am having another game night coming up, a few people have RXVP'd for that already and we were planing a picnic out at a local park with a free jazz concert that we invited quite a few people to this weekend.  Another lady that I met via church and really liked, I have called and e-mailed her a few times in the past weeks.  I really think we connected and I am excited about our blooming friendship. 

All of these wonderful things, here's one more!  Some of you may be aware, the house that's on my homepage, the one that's for sale.  that has been vacant for 3 years now.  That house, we finally got an offer.  It was a lease purchase offer (which we are open to) not a purchase offer, but they were trying to get by on too many things.  They wanted $200 lower payment per month, only 1/5 of the deposit, they wanted to pay the deposit two months after they moved in, instead of a 12 month term on the lease they wanted 24 months.  They wanted us to replace the carpets, ect, ect.  We did counter, but I don't think that they are going to be the ones for the house.   But it is still GREAT NEWS.  That is the first offer we have had on the house, so it is certainly encouraging and uplifting to receive.  I can't wait for the next offer, maybe it will be the person who is supposed to be in the house.  Did you want to move to GA?

I'm definitely going pick up my phone today, and call a friend I haven't spoke to in months, but have known since 6th grade. We use to be really close. I actually thought that was the house you lived in, when I seen someone mention you were selling your house...or something along those lines. Just jumped to conclusions. I would luv to live in that house...it's beautiful. Couldn't move that far away from my Mom though. I have always liked big houses, and white with black shutters. Can't wait to hear more good updates, on your quest for friendship.

I am glad your having so many good things happen in your life right now. You deserve it. I really wanted to make an offer on your house but I dont know where I will be stationed :(

I am so excited for Andrea. I am glad that you are really building friendships and that the house did get an offer. God is good. He will definitely bring the right person or people to the house. I am excited about the picnic you are having with the Jazz band and your game night. God is really placing creative ways to fellowship with other people and start building lasting Godly friendships. Way to go!!!!!
