Regarding what I saw today and yesterday, all over the news shows (the b.s. about Hillary supposedly bringing up the possibility of Obama's demise).. I have now officially HAD IT with the media jerks and the Obama - camp. ENOUGH! She was ONLY bringing up a historical reference-- and sorry for those who do not get the reference-- that past primary battles have gone on through or into June. Bobby Kennedy WAS shot in JUNE during/after a campaign stop- It was JUNE. I was young but I do remember it well. It was as sad a day as when JFK was shot (for me and for some of my sisters who supported him). For the Obama camp to jump on this (and, yes, I did see the press-release from his camp//him).. and say that Hillary was threatening Obama's life is completely asinine!
Boy, oh boy! Way to totally screw with Hillary and with SO MANY more Dems (and Indy's like me). Nice. As of today, I am convinced that the Obama camp has totally screwed this up and handed the election to McCain. And, this depresses me to no end!
Yes, the Republicans WILL rally and vote for McCain.... even those who had planned on voting Dem... The Independent voters will vote for an Independent candidate (or even McCain-- though I will not) rather than for Obama. And, many Democrats will simply stay home rather than vote for anyone (Obama) who inspires such vitriol. Again; enough. I have had enough. This was simply MY end as far as this primary goes and I believe it was the end for MANY women AND men who have supported Hillary throughout this awful and heated primary season.

Hi Anne, I saw on Hillary1000 that she made the same reference in March with no big ta-do! It was just to point out that the candidates were still campaigning in June. No other inference should be applied.

Ok, I'm an ardent Obama supporter.
But even I'M totally disgusted by this whole thing. It was so CLEARLY innocent, and people just took it and RAN with it! My guess is, Obama's camp knows that (how could they not?) but after seeing the reaction the quote was getting from people LOOKING for an excuse to hate Hillary, they blew it up to incite more of the same. (Again, how could they not? As far as they saw, they had a foolproof way to make Hillary look totally unbalanced, and it WORKED. I've seen SO many people saying "OMG she said she's going to kill him!!!")
That said, any Democrat that votes McCain is no Democrat at all.
I heard it, read it & watched it. Only a moron could twist it !!! It was historical reference as to why she keeps pushing forward. Give up. Well that is a real quality to have in a leader, isn't it. Morons !! Hey did I say idiots & morons.
So what we talk about now? My pain pills? They are working !! LOL !! I have to go to work at 8am. My BIL showed up to install ac's FINALLY, the 1880 Victorian kitchen window FELL APART when we opened it. LOL !!! I have been laying in bed for three days because of my deep chest wall muscle injury, OUCH !! I know you know real pain, but babe this HURT !! I gave my son the death speech if I never saw him again, for real !! Anne I thought I have a heart attack, real never felt before chest pain all on the left side deep & up my jugular vein. I got up today, dishes, went to dry clothes at laundry mat, arrived home to four cop cars next door. Sad, domestic, two babies in the house, 6 months, year & 1/2. Babies still there to my knowledge. My "fur" legged babies can sleep in house again since we have ac. What else? My son got special edition rock band game & bundle pack for his birthday. I love my son with ALL my heart, but we know he will not be a singer anytime soon or in the future. New job orientation on the 28th. What else? I'm happy. F*^* the politicians, I'm with you. Let's start our own politics. We can ya know for real. Think of an ideas & we can start a group. I can't find enough sociology topics on this thing. Like ADL sociology. Stuff that we can talk about that we can solve, issues with our kids, our big grown kids. Community issues we all share. Hope you are feeling okay. I need to quit smoking. HELP !!!
Yeah- gals. I am just so DONE with giving my support to the Democratic nominee (if that nominee IS indeed Obama). He's just another Washington-suit. He professes to want "change'; to inspire "change".. to work toward "change". But, hell- this is not a change from politics as usual.. something Obama has said he would never sink to. And, this is only the latest sick attempt of his to twist anything the woman has said-- no matter HOW innocuous! I know that this has inspired SOME of Obama's past-supporters to change their votes.. But, i am afraid it simply is not enough.
Given that Obama has turned off so many people in "swing" states; and in so many other states, I feel the writing is on the wall- and we ARE in for at least 4 years of McBush- In other words, we are screwed. makes me SAD and angry! I thought I could, possibly, get through to January, no matter what Bush did up 'til then. But, I will not make it (financially, medically, etc..) if McBush is elected... and I believe we are headed in that direction.. boo........
The ONLY people that can save this election are those left to vote and, surely; the superdelegates. If they don't take tihs seriously-- and consider just how many votes the dems will LOSE if Obama is the candidate--- they are placing all of us in a dire situation.. talk about peril?? yeesh. The US; the delegates and the voters are making a huge mistake here.
