im a new stay at home mom and royally bored. im grateful mason is home and on the mend. but he refuses to sleep through the night. i even try to stimulate him during the day so he might sleep at night, but nope! he's not having it! im just praying and hoping that he will change his sleeping patterns soon! and now im trying to figure out what to do with all my time. ive done cleaning and well, i think i might start painting the house. im just super bored. the weather has finally let up and we can be outside more, but blech! being in the house is just nuts! sometimes i think it is some weird torture moms go through so when their kids do hit a milestone, you get to celebrate! woohoo! i just moved to a new town of 500ish and their arent that many people here. i feel like im starting all over and have to find new friends. im not sure i have the freaking energy to make new friends. my parents are close, but i think i only have so much tolerance left to tolerate being there. grrr... maybe a nights sleep will help. and maybe some new friends! oh well, thanks for reading and letting me whine!!

Jun. 5, 2008 at 11:33 PM I totally understand. My daughter was backwards with the sleeping for a while. Up from 11pm to 4am. That was sooooo hard!!!!!! It took several months to switch her. It made me crazy!!!!!  I think she still goes to bed late compared to most kids, but that's fine with me because she still sleeps 12 hours and I get to sleep later. It will get better though and you will get used to being home and the older he gets the more fun he will be :-)
