I am excited for Indiana Jones.  LOVE Harrison Ford!  I hear its one that would be better if you hadn't seen the other three.... but knowing that I'll keep an open mind and just sit back and enjoy!  : )  Wanna see Maid of Honor,  I love Pixar, too!  So looking forward to Wall-e!  Hadn't heard about the Jodie Foster movie, but now I'll look for it!  She's a great actress and hasn't disappointed me yet...

Saw Iron Man.  Really enjoyed that!  Didn't want to go, but kids (including Teenage boy) won out even on Mother's Day (why I'm a mom, right?) and ended up REALLY enjoying it!  Very well done!

Hello,

I'm looking forward to the next Harry Potter film.  I'm kind of curious to see how it will be.

May. 29, 2008 at 8:49 PM I want to see Baby Mamma and I know my husband will drag me to the new Batman movie, but I like Batman anyway and they filmed the movie in Chicago, my home away from home.

May. 30, 2008 at 12:28 AM I am undecided on "Sex IN The City, but the one I am looking forward to seeing is "Get Smart>"  It cracked me up as a kid and I want to see how this film stacks up.

ALSO... just saw "Swing Vote".  I liked it!  Kevin Costner does a great job and his comedic timing for this type of comedy was perfect!  The little girl (who'se name escapes me, <its a 50 yr. old thing>) does a FANTASTIC job!  You feel her emotions completely along with her frustrations.  Have a kleenex handy for a couple of her scenes!  Sit back and enjoy this one!  : )

OMG- saw "Batman-the Dark Knight".  What a GREAT movie!  It departs from the comic book characature and brings the characters to life in a more life-like way.  In other words...rather than the Jim Carey "Riddler", or Jack Nicholson "Joker" characature characterizations of bringing a comic book to life but still thinking of them in comic book form, these actors totally make them more believable as a human being gone mad.  I love Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne, but his gravelly voice does get a little annoying as the Batman.  I feel so sad that the acting world has lost Heath Ledger.  What a truly amazing job he did!  I hope he does get nominated for an oscar.  A well earned, well deserved nomination AND quite possible win as well!  Aaron Eckart (spelling) should not go unnoticed.  He does an excellent job as well.  No weak actors in this one!

Just saw "Step Brothers".  Waste of time!  Gross, teenage boy adolescent humor that goes over the top in stupid, baudy, humorless attempts at humor.  Especially bad was that another mom and I were chaperones for 15 girls!  EEEEEWWWWWW!  Don't waste your time or money, unless you have an urge to see men's private parts planted on a snare drum.....  honestly gross!
