We had our first visit with the RE yesterday. He's decided to put me back on clomid for two cycles and monitor it more closely this time. If it doesn't work then we'll go to inject-ables. I have to schedule an HSG, which I'm pretty nervous about. Then we'll have a few ultrasounds and blood work done. we're also doing a trigger shot this time so we have to take a shot class. I HATE needles so I'm super nervous about this. I'm a little overwhelmed but trying to stay positive. The Dr. also told me that because of the PCOS I'm borderline diabetic and that if I gain too much weight I will be diabetic. I'll also probably have gestational diabetes. Eeek! But like I said I'm really trying to stay positive and focus on the big picture.

I wish you the best of luck. I never went through anything like this but I know the end result will be totally worth everything that you are going through!!

May. 29, 2008 at 4:47 PM Looks like you have a Game Plan which is GREAT news!!  You have something to look forward to and that is the best thing.  I was on Clomid for a loooong while and it did nothing for me.  I have however seen many women that have been on it and it has brought them their little miracle.  I will be honest with you...... I hated shots too, but it was all worth it in the long run.  I have my little miracle baby and I would do it all over again!!  Keep us posted and stay positive.
