I moved 500+ miles away from my home towns

it was the best move I have ever made. unfortunately I don't get to hear from my friends and family very often. but when I do it is usually something good. but yesterday it was something bad. a friend of our family was diagnosed with stage 3 cancer. it is really sad news because her son is still overseas. She had been trying to get a proper diagnosis for over 5 years. I blame the small town doctors. in-fact that is part of the reason I am happy I moved away and am never coming back. see I have been having abnormal pap-smears since my first one 4 years ago and only found out that it was on the verge of being a serious issue when I moved away to my big city of Cleveland and they did the tests that my previous doctors were suppose to do. right now I am recovering from having my cervix lasered. if I had gone another year or so just looking at abnormal pap smears I could have easily ended up in our family's friend's shoes. things don't look good for our friend's health since her cancer was found all over her abdomen (even after a hysterectomy and removing 4 feet of her intestines) so I often find myself praying for her.
