Well... Sorry to not get on until this late in the day, but I've been busy with Dev, but not with what you all think... He is ok, but surgery did not happen this morning. He was going into surgery, but in rounds this morning Dr. Kato changed his mind very last minute... He had good reasoning behind it,but I really really hate that he couldn't think of all this earlier... Dr. Kato said that based on how fast Dev becomes unstable he would really rather wait to do the surgery until after he gets back after next week. Dr. Horslen and Reyes will both be at this work thing with Dr. Kato, so he said that he will take the chance to sit down with the both of them and go over everything with them. Being that they are the ones that had been with Dev pretty much since day one he wants their thoughts on everything and wants to know what all they did to the bowel... They are thinking that maybe it would be ok to discharge him to the RMH until Dr. Kato comes back and than they will do the surgery... So we are in limbo for about a week and a half...
