I hear countless times "we're so broke, we're having another baby, I hate my in-laws, they're so mean." People sit down have yourself a good cry and then get up and become proactive in your own life! Yes I will admit sometimes life just works itself out but more times than not you have to make a change! Wallowing in self pity has never served me in a positive way. I learned quickly that depression was selfish and not only robbing me of a good life but affecting the quality of life for my children and husband. I'm not talking about getting upset and having a good cry, that's healthy children need to see you get upset but they also need to see you solve your problems. Otherwise you are passing helplessness on to your children. If you are a stay at home mom and you are so broke that you don't know how you'll pay your bills or buy food. GO TO WORK!! If you have negative people in your life bringing you down family or friends. LEAVE THEM ALONE!! My kids don't listen, my husband is rotten, you know you've heard them all! People in the midst of these problems don't see it so black and white but it really is!!! I had really damaging in-laws "POOF" they're gone. I am happy to say once I made the conscious decision to weed out all the drama and actively work on anything else that I was not happy with, I have been DRAMA FREE for 8 years. I'm more than happy to listen to your problems ONCE. But the next time, if you haven't come up with any kind of plan, you're just whining!
