ANTS~YUCK!

Ok, so here's the deal, we've had a LOT of rain this year.  As the weather started to warm up, little black ants started to come in.  What do you do?  We have 2 small ones in the house.  How many crumbs do we pick up in a day with little ones around?  Ants love crumbs!  I love (in sarcasm), "the food doesn't leave the kitchen!"  Of course later I find it in the playroom with those pesky black ants starting to surround it~yuck!! Do I want to spray with chemicals I've researced that can cause learning disabilities, cancer, upper resperatory illnesses?  Thank heavens I found a Wellness store that has something which can take care of the ants on the spot!  It's so nice to have something safe to use around my kids....oh yea, it also cleans (added benefit!)  So on we go with our war to keep the ants out~~I guess it is summer!

May. 31, 2008 at 4:04 PM We have issues with ants at the beginning of summer as well.... My Husband sprays the inside of the house all along the baseboards and outside along the  bottom and up on the windows.... Now we will see one or two... but beats ALL them stomping in like a big heard... lol

May. 31, 2008 at 4:08 PM lol big herd thats a good one. we have the same trouble they dont seem to like dryer sheets. i also heard salt keeps them away or was it flour??

You guys are too funny!  At least they aren't as big as a, "herd" might be!
