I seriously HATE HATE HATE money!!!!

My financial aid I had in college didn't cover all my cost and I now I have to pay off $460 in 3 months to the University, plus I have to start paying back my loans next month and I don't even have a clue how much it will be, hopefully not too much since I was only there for a year an a half. I am using up 3/4 of my paycheck this month to pay off Brandon's credit card, which we got SERIOUSLY screwed over on!!!! We have $200 + dollars in late fee's to pay off!  Then not to mention gas prices and food prices, I will not be surprised if we do fall into another depression, how are people going to afford to even get to work if gas gets to $6 a gallon or something ridiculous!!! We have a hybrid car, but it is 24 miles round trip to take Brandon to work and about 15-20 miles round trip to take me to work, so though we pay less for gas because it is hybrid we still go through it really fast! I want to go back to school, but don't know how we are going to afford it, I desperately want to have a "real" wedding, but don't know how we will afford that (but that is three years down the line anyway), and we really want to start trying to have a baby in a few months, but can we afford that? I know I am meant to be a mother and can't wait to start our family but I still have fears with how once I have a baby I will be a mother for the rest of my life and that is a crazy though!

UGH, I just hate how much gas is getting to and how much food prices are going up. We went to blockbuster today and it was almost $15 to rent a few movies!!!!! I wont be going back there for awhile! I just pray every day that the lord guides us and helps us get through all of this. I know money is one of the biggest issues with couple problems and I pray it doesn't cause issues with Brandon and I.

Jun. 1, 2008 at 1:17 AM I think a lot of people will agree with you! Have you checked into deferring your student loans? I think you can do that for a couple of years if need be. And, on your credit card...have you asked about hardship payments or a settlement? Although, these won't get rid of the debt (well a settlement on the credit card would) but, it may give you some time to get yourself in a better position to pay? Good Luck!
