It's really not that i want to be unappreciative, I am very very thankful they got me stuff, considering my family couldnt even show up for support even if they couldnt get me anything... but my borother and sisterinlaw are the nicest people ever and they wanted to get me a big gift and they had asked me a while ago what I wanted and I had said a SWING, for a specific reason, I had allready had a perfect car seat with 2 bases so a base could go in both of our cars, and the stroller I wanted was only 29 dollars I would have just needed to buy the infant headrests seperate, which was fine. and I told EVERYONE that she didnt need alot alot of clothes cause I have like boxes and boxes of newborn clothes still with the tags on, some new outfits are ok, just didnt need alot. and that I didnt need bottles because I was breastfeeding and the pump I was getting had special bottles to go on it, that you could just pump and store.... this is what i got 22 outfits, a $229 stroller car seat combo in puke green and yellow, a baby bath ( which was nice, and i had picked it out prior to the baby shower, and 1 pack of diapers... I could have stretched $229 out sooo far, got a swing stroller and everything, and cause they waited till like 4 days before my due date I dont have time or money to go get the things I would have needed or liked, plus I really don't want them to get mad cause I returned it or anything cause I don't want them to think I am unappreciative at all... I really don't know what to do

Jun. 1, 2008 at 1:32 AM Return it.  They love you, they wanted to do this nice thing for you so they really won't mind.  You know what you need and even though you told her whoat you wanted maybe she thought you were just being considerate in requesting a moderatly priced gift and she wanted to spend more on you and the baby.  Just take it back and purchase what you need then call her and say thank you so much for the beautiful stroller but I know you'll understand that the baby really needed these things more and the stroller I already have is really all she'll need buy I'd love for you to come over for a cup oc coffee so I can show you all the wonderful things you bought the baby!  Trust me she'll love it and you'll have a good time too!
