1. the words dumb/stupid coming out an adults mouth towards a child. and then hearing the child say, sorry i'm just a dumby/stupid kid. that makes me livid in no time flat.

2.people who bitch and bitch about a situation, but, refuse to do anything about it. get off ur ass and try fixing things. or changing them,.i can't stand people who are constantly whining, but, never attempt to do something to better their situation!

3. being told, I'm a lazy person, who is a drain on society. I work hard, but, not in the workforce. I take care of my kids and attend any and every thing for them. I am their sole-support person. NO one else is able/capable/wants to do what I have to do. I do make money, I have odd jobs, and I am available at all hours to my children still. When they are both in school, then I'll be in the work force again, until then--bite me!

I could not agree with you more.

Stupid, dumb, idiot, retard, freak... all those words are bad words in our home.  My children respect others a lot more than most kids these days.  They hear other kids (AND ADULTS) use these words are they are always in shock.

I am also a stay at home/work at home mother.  Money is always tight, but I love being available to my children at all times.  My youngest starts school in the fall and I will return to the work force, part-time, then.  So, good for you.  Be there for them as long as you can.  I know your situation is different from most and I can't even begin to imagine your day to day challenges.  God Bless you.

Jun. 1, 2008 at 9:35 PM i whine and bitch and complain and I probably will until I a dead cause I always want better for my life... for my children's life.  I don't want them to grow up and have to take care of me... I am their parent and it is my job to take care of them.  One day though... I'll stop.... at least until something new comes along for me to bitch at... LOL
