I had an appointment with my OBGYN last week.
I had an ultrasound and some blood drawn for testing, to see if I have PolyCysticOvarySyndrome.
The ultrasound showed a normal uterus (yay!) and "Chocolate-Chip-Cookie-Ovaries" (not so good- does anyone know what that means, or did I just see a freak doctor?).
He said that it does LOOK LIKE PCOS, but that they won't make a dx until the bloodwork is back.
It looks like there might be some "Glucophage" in my future... Any tips? Horror stories? Anything?
On a side note, Abby was with me and did an AMAZING job at the doctor's office. WHAT A RELIEF!
