Lately Ive been talking to my friend that's trying to show me how to except change, that just because the people in my past have been nothing but full of drama and games not everyone in the world are the same. I'm so ready to embrace change as well as her friendship, but in the same breath Im scared to take that leap of faith into the unknown. When you've been let down so many times in your past I tend to build up a wall to block off any unwanted bullshit and drama! Thus hindering my chances of embracing anything new or rewarding that someone might have to offer me. At times Im afraid of opening up cause Im in fear of them using what Ive shared with them about my life against me later on. Change is always a good thing, but one must also realize that Rome wasn't built in a day and miracles don't happen over night.

I Like this quote I dislike this quoteThe longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, the education, the money, than circumstances, than failure, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill. It will make or break a company... a church... a home. The remarkable thing is we have a choice everyday regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past... we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude. I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% of how I react to it. And so it is with you... we are in charge of our Attitudes.
